Zachariah Njobo
Zachariah Njobo left school at thirteen but had already been introduced to sculpture by his uncle, a well-known sculptor. He was twenty when he joined the Canon Paterson art centre, where promising artists are provided with the necessary materials and tools.
With its pure lines and discreet humour, Njobo's distinctive style was quickly noticed by enthusiasts. Today, his work is internationally acclaimed and features in numerous private and public collections
